What really sold me, though, is how alive the world feels. The city is a neon playground of towering skylines, rain-slick streets, and tiny environmental details that reward you for slowing down and looking around. Every district has its own vibe, and the lighting and particle effects make even casual walks feel cinematic. Combat is punchy and flexible—whether you’re hacking from the shadows, going full guns-blazing, or mixing in melee, the game constantly encourages experimentation. The skill trees and cybernetic upgrades meaningfully change how you approach encounters, so your build actually matters.

The narrative is equally strong. Main quests are tight and emotional, but the side stories are where the game truly shines: compact, character-driven arcs with real consequences and multiple ways to resolve them. Dialogue options feel impactful, companions are memorable, and your choices ripple in ways you notice hours later. Add in a pulsing synth soundtrack, slick UI, and surprisingly polished quality-of-life touches, and it’s hard to put the controller down. A couple of minor quirks pop up here and there, but nothing that dulls the experience. If you love deep worldbuilding, meaningful progression, and stylish action, this is a must-play.
